How To Create Your Own Button, Linked To Setster Widget

Yes, an example is on our home page and our features page where we have a button that calls up the overlay in the middle of the page.

Creating your own button

First you need to make sure you have the Setster code placed on your page. If you wish to not use the Setster button, then you need to select the “Hidden” option of the code and integrate it to your website first. This is done when getting the code from the Get Widget section under Settings. Instead of selecting left or right, select HIDDEN. Add the code to your page, above the following call. To get your code ready please see this FAQ.

Create your button that you wish to open the appointment tab with, then use the following JavaScript call to link. Simply apply this to any button, image or item within your site and when pressed the Setster widget will appear.

Java Script Call:;

Example of a complete code:

<a href="javascript:;" onclick="; return false;">Book Appointment</a>

The above will show the words "Book Appointment" and when clicked on this word the widget would open. This can also be done to an image

<a href=";" onclick="; return false;"><img src="..."></a>, or any object on your site.

We would be happy to help you out. Just get in touch by submitting a ticket to our support team.
