Staff Availability

Staff availability is when a member is capable to take appointments. Your business may be open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, but you may wish to limit the time you take appointments, or be very specific on the types of services you wish to offer when.

The below is how you would set the available times per member to take appointments. 

Please note, Setster will use your Business Hours set in Settings >> Business Profile >> Business Hours as the starting point template for staff availability. Below is how you can edit this, or add more on top of it. 

Add new availability for a specific staff member

  1. Login to Setster and go to Settings >> Staff
  2. Select the staff member you wish to add availability for and click Edit.
  3. Once in the staff edit page, scroll to the Availability Schedule section. 
  4. Select the location you wish to add the availability for (if this member is assigned to multiple locations)
  5. Click on the Add button
  6. In the next view, confirm the location previously selected and type as Available or you an choose Out Of Office if you wish to block the time. Info on blocking time found here.
  7. Select if this availability will repeat indefinitely every week or whether this will be a specific date interval
  8. If Date Interval is selected, input the start and end date. This can be the same day for a single day availability.
  9. By Clicking on the cells available under the weekly days and the corresponding times in the grid, you will mark each cell in a Dark Blue as available time or in Red as Out Of Office. (Note you can click and move the mouse to select multiple cells at a time)
  10. Once you have added all the times make sure to click on the SAVE button for this area and the staff.

Please note:

  • You can add multiple available times and Setster will make sure to honor all of them as available if they do not overlap with any Out Of Office times. The system is smart to understand you.
  • If this staff member is assigned to several locations make sure to set the available times for each location as every location can have different working hours

 

Edit an already set staff availability

  1. Login to Setster and go to Settings >> Staff
  2. Select the staff member you wish to edit availability for and click Edit.
  3. Once in the staff edit page, scroll to the Availability Schedule section. 
  4. Select the location you wish to edit the availability for (if this member is assigned to multiple locations)
  5. Select the previously created availability and click on the Edit button
  6. In the next view, confirm the location previously selected and type as Available or you an choose Out Of Office if you wish to block the time. Info on blocking time found here.
  7. Select if this availability will repeat every week or whether this will be a specific date interval
  8. If Date Interval is selected, make sure of the the start and end date. This can be the same day for a single day availability.
